Home care operations platform

True Nest CareDesk

True Nest Home Care

Home care runs on coordination: who is visiting whom, for how long, and what gets billed for it. True Nest was managing that across notebooks and message threads. CareDesk replaced them with one system built specifically for how the business actually works, and it now runs the day to day.

The problem

Client details, caregiver assignments, hours worked, and amounts billed each lived somewhere different. Reconciling them at the end of a period meant reading back through messages, and anything not written down was gone.

What we built

  • Client and caregiver records with structured, access-controlled information
  • Caregiver assignment and scheduling against clients
  • Timekeeping that feeds directly into payroll review
  • Client billing generated from recorded hours rather than reconstructed by hand
  • Role-based access so staff see only what their role requires
  • Generated PDF documents for billing and records

Built for sensitive data

A home care system holds personal and health-related information, which changes how it has to be built. Access is role-scoped from the schema up, changes are attributable, and the platform is deployed on managed infrastructure with automated backups rather than a machine under a desk.

Because the system holds real client information, access is granted per role rather than per person, every record change is attributable, and backups run automatically. Ongoing maintenance and fixes are handled directly by us.
